Experience a private yoga session for yourself or for your group in the serene and welcoming The Yoga Barn, in Hele.

Our purpose-built, newly-renovated studio is only a 3-minute walk to the beach, to Hillsborough Nature Reserve and to the South West Coast Path.

We provide mats, blankets and all props for your practise here with us, so you only need to bring yourself.

In this sacred space, we invite you to explore the opportunity to meet yourself again, in this moment, just as you are.

All our offerings, without exception, are rooted in the same simplicity and innocence of the first yoga practice ever attended, first meditation ever experienced, and always, always from the heart.

In our yoga therapy sessions you will experience the healing power of yoga. We make use of this vast and ancient technology to bring mind, body and spirit back to a more balanced state of health and to promote a noticeable sense of integral wellbeing.

Some of the common conditions that can greatly benefit from yoga therapy include: anxiety and depression; poor posture; high blood pressure; insomnia; chronic back pain; hypothyroidism etc.

No experience in yoga is required to take part in yoga therapy and each session is carefully curated to your individual needs.

Our yoga therapy sessions are usually one hour long and are offered in our serene studio in Hele. It is also possible to arrange home visits within the North Devon area.

Chair yoga is a great way for older adults to receive personal and attentive care, working body, mind and spirit in a very safe and supportive way, sitting on a chair.

Staying seated while doing yoga means that you can receive the benefits of this ancient practice while respecting your body and individual abilities.

The benefits of chair yoga include reducing chronic pain, decreasing stress, and improving mobility and circulation.

It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance.

The Yoga Barn is a very warm and comfortable studio space with parking and wheel-chair access.
